Wayfinding Signage

The term Wayfinding signage was coined in the 1960’s when an architect was beginning to understand the psychology of how people navigate unknown environments. Signage in this regard is just one aspect of the overall solution when attempting to make navigation easier. Other things like, lighting, landmarks, personnel, and other non-signage ingredients make for a successful Wayfinding program.
Signage does play a big role though, and as such we offer a variety of solutions to fit into your overall Wayfinding project, including:

Wall Signs – Our system offers a permanent solution with the ability to swap out information on the system as need be. These are great for maps, directories, general information. These systems can be backlit or not. Both are made from vandal proof polycarbonate. As an alternative use, we see many using these systems as cubicle name plates, because of the easy use and changeability of the inserts.

Projecting Signs – Different from the wall signs that are flush against the wall, these signs are perpendicular to the wall. Very easy to install and offer quick changing of information as needed. These can hang from ceilings as well as wall. These can be backlit or not. Both are made from vandal proof polycarbonate.

Directories – Our systems are fast and simple to assemble and install. The idea behind this system is to allow inserts to be easy maintained. The system is fully customizable to fit your environments style and needs.

Table Stands – Our table stands come as a complete package.

  • Convex frame, aluminum base and end cap, clear/non-glare lens.
  • Available in several sizes
  • Easy to assemble
  • Easy to change inserts
  • Designed to accept standard paper or other sign substrates.

Pylon Signs – Pylon signs are great for directories and displays that can be implemented in many environments including, car parks, airports, hospitals, office buildings, campuses, libraries, malls, and more! The vertical systems come in a variety of sizes shapes and configurations. They can be installed indoor and outdoor. Following is a list of popular styles:

  • Double Sided Pylons – This system will accept standard inserts/substrates on two sides, including: paper, plastic, metal, laminates, sublimations, etc… By adding divider strips the towers can function as directories with changeable inserts.
  • Triangular Pylons – Just like the double sided pylons, the triangular pylon gives you a sleek design while offering 3 sides to place information on.
  • Lighted Pylons – Offered in many different sizes and configuration, these systems offer the advantage of lighted signage. Great for malls and airports where maps or directories need to be well seen and available.

Post Signs – Post Signs are similar to Pylon Signs in how they work, but offer a different look. The posts are visible in these systems, unlike the pylons that have surface area from ground up. These can be configured with single or double posts and offer single or double sided graphic placement.

Suspended Signs – The systems offer sleek curved profiles any many different sizes and shapes. These have specially designed connectors that allow great flexibility when decided where and how to hang you suspended signs. These can be backlit or not.
